I haven't gained any weight either. I lost a bunch right at the beginning cuz I had the flu and only managed to put back on about 2 lbs. of that. I'm going to enjoy it while I can - who knows when it'll change!

I've lost about 6 pounds so far. With my other two I didn't start gaining until 24 weeks or so and I lost between 5-10 pounds in the first few months with both of them. I ended up gaining about 30 pounds overall. As long as you are eating a healty varity of foods I wouldn't worry about the number of pounds you gain/lose (unless it is excessive).

I'm at 15+5 and just gained half a pound. I'll prolly lose it though since I've just started "real" morning sickness last week. Ah well....

At almost 14 weeks (13+5 or 6, can't remember, what day is it??!) I've lost 4 pounds and gained 2 back. But my belly is definately sticking "out there". Its ok, by the end we will have gained enough!

I'm 17 weeks and I've gained around 3 pounds. I do love beer, though, so having cut out my daily one or two has really cut down on the empty calories.

A mom in my mommy group gained a total of 1lb her entire pregnancy. Her son was born at a normal healthy weight and is a totally normal healthy toddler. Of course, doctors were concerned...but not overly so.

Don't worry arismama.... you WILL gain and gain and gain.. Some women lose and some gain in the first trimester but ALL women will gain in their second and third trimester.. I PROMISE!

I am the same as you for this pregnancy.. I actually have lost several lbs.. but the baby doubles in size just before your 20th week, or shortly after and you WILL show by then and start gaining a little, by little...

Sorry, I just read what Booflies wrote and I had to laugh... It's not possible for a women to have only gained 1 lb only during her pregnancy... She obviously lost a lot of weight during her pregnancy and then gained it all back with one lb. over... You said she had a 'healthy' baby.. than she had at least a 6lb baby right? then common sense would tell you then she AT LEAST had to gain 6 lbs to carry that baby's weight as well... then you have 2-4lbs for the placenta...2,3 lbs for water weight..etc...

That women was not telling the truth or forgot to tell the whole story.. that she lost a lot of weight than gained it back... or else she had a 1 lb. baby!!!!

My sister (who was overwieght to begine with) lost 15 pounds during her last pregnancy. She lost 10 in the first trimester, then I am sure there was some gain/loss but it doesn't really matter in the end she had a 7 pound baby, born 2 weeks early and was 15 pounds under her pre pregnancy weight.
I was dieting before I found out I was pregnant and while I am not longer dieting I am sure cutting out the sweets has helped with my lack of gain. I tend to obsess over weight so the scale in our bathroom is gone for the duration of the pregnancy so that I will only be weighed while at the Doctors office.

with DD i lost 13lbs and didn't gain any back until 20ish weeks, but i did go on to gain enough weight and have a healthy baby.

This time i am hovering around pre-preg weight, sometimes up sometimes down. but i have a feeling that i will start gaining again here soon.

Last preg. I lost 17lbs before I started to gain my 20 lbs (7 of which came on the last week, mostly fluid wt I think), babe came in at a wopping 10.4 we just all vary so much, I was and am a little fluffier to begin with so loosing that much was not terrible for my body, I just had a reduced appetite and the lbs flew off....it's the only time loosing wt has been easy for me.

This time around I lost 4 lbs and gained 4....so far

I have had friends gain 60 and that was just right for their body size/type and they took it back off w/o problem after birth, and then there's me who lost and gained and came out 3 lbs bigger than my beginning wt. I try to just remind myself to focus on good food/calorie choices and let my body do what it needs to do.

By this point with DS, I had gained 8 or 9lbs, and I ended up gaining 39 all up - the fact that I was 30lbs down at 8days PP tells me a bunch of that was water.

Thanks to Wii Fit's body test, I know that With this babe, I haven't gained anything (18w0d today). I tend to fluctuate with the same 2lbs, which is normal from day to day... right now I am 2 below pre-pg. I did start this pregnancy 8lbs heavier... I still do not undertsand how I gained 8lbs in the 6 weeks between my m/c and this BFP, but the donuts didn't help lol.

I am eating well; smaller, more frequent meals with protein may have a little to do with it, too. I've noticed the weight is shifting though... obviously if I'm gaining a pound or whatever in blood volume for example, but see no change on the scale, then technically I am losing weight. I could certainly afford to come out the other side less than my pre-pg starting weight, but I am just trying to focus on eating healthful, balanced meals and not on my weight.

Sorry that I was not accurate.
The net difference between her preg pregnancy weight and the weight on her last prenatal appointment was +1 lb.
SO obviously she lost a ton of weight and then only gained enough back to be +1lb.
SOrry again that I so grossly misrepresented her situation.
