here's mine!

I attempted a little wire crochet. Never done it before, but I am a knitter/hooker far more than a beader. It was a lot of fun. I think I'm going to end up making my mom a bracelet out of some "extras" from what I bought for the swap.

I'm not particularly happy with the ends where the closure is, but I think it is mostly just my lack of experience.

I really like how you put yours together. I believe I may have to flatter you with some imitation.

So, I FINALLY got around to making my necklace!! I held out hoping we'd end up doing that NYC-area beading party we had talked about on the Yahoo Group, but I think everyone just got too busy for that. So, what do you think?

I LOVE it! You all picked out such great beads! Came out so much better than the one from my last DDC - although of course I treasure that one too - but I was very un-creative with that one and just put them all in a row on a silk cord. This time, I found this *amazing* bead store near my mom's house and got some different supplies, spacer beads, etc. there.

Of course now I think I've started a new hobby - while I was there I couldn't resist, and picked up supplies to make several more pieces of jewelry. They just have such GORGEOUS beads and the ladies are sooo nice, they taught me several new techniques I'm dying to try. IF I could stay awake at night after the kids are in bed, that is!! LOL

i finally put mine together! i originally wanted to use hemp, but some of the beads had holes much too small for that, so i just got some stretchy clear beading string stuff? haha. i don't do this much as you can tell!
