Hey everyone,

Have a quick question: Last night and this morning I've had a real increase in amount and intensity of movement. At some points it is almost as if the baby is having spasms. She seems to be back to normal this morning but I'm still worried.

Anyone else ever experience this?

I have a call into my doc and am now waiting the reply.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
-katie

Update: Doc called back. She was so not concerned - asked if I had any stimulants during the day. Only thing I can think of is too much banana bread? Not sure. Anyhow, she just said to watch it.

In the last couple days my baby has suddenly been moving WAY more and in some different ways. So same thing. I think baby is trying to escape or something :P

I had huge increase in movement (in a baby that moved an awful lot more than my last one already!) the day baby flipped from transverse to head down. And I've had a huge increase in movement yesterday and today. I'm only hoping that baby isn't flipping back or something!

Thanks for sharing your experiences! I really appreciate it. Baby seems to be moving more normally now.

Maybe she was flipping...or having a temper tantrum. lol

I seem to have had an increase in movement the past few days/week. Am hoping the baby is making effort to turn from breech/transverse to vertex (either that or is testing my abdominal wall for the weakest spot to burst out through!), although so far no bananas.

There are some days where this kid is REALLY active and others where I barely feel her and it gets me worried. I figured that shes like any other person and on some days just has a lot of energy to get out. I also figure that the bigger she gets the more Ill feel her since there isn't much of a place for her to go.
