So I had my last growth scan u/s today after my weekly NST (checking that baby's growth hasn't been affected by my thyroid problems, that she doesn't have any sign of a goiter, etc.)

She looked great, measuring a week or two ahead as have all my kids, weighing around 6 lbs. 12 oz. at 35 weeks tomorrow (I know, I know, ultrasounds are not always accurate on that - but they use a chart that they claim is more accurate than the average u/s, so who knows...)

Except her head is apparently HUGE - last time, I had a u/s at 31 weeks and her head measured 35. Today, at just short of 35 weeks, her head was measuring over 41!! ACK! Good thing this is my 4th, I hope I'm stretched out enough already! They didn't think anything was wrong, thankfully...and my mw said if I've been able to birth the other 3 vaginally, I will be able to get this one out, too - but I have to admit, with a month+ still to go, I am a little nervous about this!! No wonder I've been feeling more pressure down there earlier than usual....

Oh my goodness! Hope her head-growth slows down some in the next few weeks!

Yikes! I had a growth scan a couple of weeks ago and was worried about little one's head measuring 38 weeks at 36, but 41 at 35?!! Wow. Maybe she had a head growth-spurt and now it'll slow down

LOL....I keep telling myself I can do it....big heads do run on both sides of our family (must be all the brains, right?! ) My DH has a very big head and I do, too - I usually can't even buy ladies' hats, I have to get guys' hats, because my head doesn't fit. So I guess it's all genetic!

Anyway, my hope is that she'll put her big ol' noggin on my cervix and start applying some good pressure so I'll dilate sooner/faster, right? Gotta think positive!

Gravity will pull her out quicker? Seriously, good luck, you can do it.
