My little girl will be six weeks next week and her appt. is mon. My husband does not want to vax and I am am on the fence about it. I just need some support and some info about not vaxing. It may be silly but if we don't vax- I am worried that she will get a horrible disease. I have to make a decision and need some help. so if anyone can chime in that would be great!

What makes you think that if she is not vaccinated she will get a horrible disease?? or that if she is vaccinated she won't for that matter.
Most os the diseases that they vaccinate for are not all that horrible.
Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Chicken pox, were all once consdiered mild childhood disaeses that most kids got.
Hepatitis B vaccine for a newborn is ludicrious. Is your baby planning on sharing dirty needles or having sex anytime soon??
I could write a book on all the reason i think your husband is right on the money, but here is what I suggest

Do nothing until you have had a chance to throughly research. Getting a few answers to questions on here won't cut it. When you feel 100% comfortable that you have learned enough to make an informed choice then make a desicion.

While researching take a look at each disease and each vaccine for that disease and weigh the risks vs the benefits. What you will find no doubt is that many if not the majority of the VPD (vaccine preventable diseases) were already on their way out naturally by the time the vaccine was even introduced. check out the graphs on
Also look at the CDC pinkbooks
The following is a list of sites I found useful in my research in helping me make up my mind:

Your child's best defense against any disease is a strong healthy immune system. Vaccines weaken the immune system. Take your time and remember you can always get a vaccine later, but once they are in there you can't take them out.

If the people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny." Thomas Jefferson.

You already got some good responses, but look beyond the VDPs too. There are many questionable ingredients, toxins even, in vaccines.

My Dd just had her 2mth well visit last week and we too were on the fence when she was born. The onlyVPD that I was concerned about was pertusis but then I learned that the vax doesnt even prevent transmission but rather makes the effects less severe. also, many helpful moms on here told me about the meny of them who were vaxed for it and caught it anyway! Being that DTaP is one of the worst vaxes, I decided to go fully non-vax and am completely 100% confident that I made the right choice. When we were in the docs office I was picturing letting them do it and the mere thought horrified me. Why taint a perfectly healthy body?? You shoudl check out Barbara Loe Fisher's speech on "no forced vax, not in America"
