My dh is heading to Africa for a year and he is getting vaxed as per his work contract (don't even get me started on that).
The children and I are staying behind. They are unvaxed. I'm just trying to think of any precautions they need to take in terms of their short exposure to their dad's recent vaxes.
He's receiving MMR, Polio, Tetanus, Meningitis, Hep A&B, Yellow Fever and Malaria,
Thanks for your thoughts,

Only the live ones can theoretically shed....MMR and Yellow Fever are live vaccines..there is no vax for malaria. people take anti-malarial drugs

If the people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny." Thomas Jefferson.

Yes, I realize malaria is drugs not vax, although I'm not sure he does - sigh. We've all done the nosodes for MMR and I picked up another remedy from the Naturopath this morning. He's not even going to be in a Yellow Fever zone, but he has to have as part of his "acceptance" of the offer. The whole thing gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Yes, Malaria is drugs and they are NOT fun. All the times DH has been overseas (the military owns his body unfortunately) he's stopped taking them because they make him violently ill. Just a warning for your dh .

I'm so sorry he has to go through all that.
