My 15-mo is completely un-vaccinated. We are moving to Montana and we will need to do some sort of daycare/preschool. What on EARTH do you do, with only a medical exemption exception? I'm freaking out.
K In love with dh and mama to dd, born at home 6/3/2011
they have religious exemptions too
Medical & Religious
Religious Exemption form, HES-113, must be signed and notarized yearly.
"When a parent, guardian, or adult who has the responsibility for the care and custody of a minor seeking to attend school or the person seeking to attend school, if an adult, signs and files with the governing authority, prior to the commencement of attendance each school year, a notarized affidavit on a form prescribed by the department stating that immunization is contrary to the religious tenets and practices of the signer, immunization of the person seeking to attend the school may not be required prior to attendance at the school. The religious exemption is not limited to an established or recognized traditional religion but also encompasses sincerely held personal religious beliefs."
here is the form:

I can't cut & paste right now, but check out mtfamiliesforhealthfreedom.com and even consider contacting them. Also, go to the find-your-tribe section of MDC and post this in the sub-forum for MT. There may be some knowledgable MT mamas there.
In some states, you can get around vax requirements by using somebody's in-home daycare.
