Now there's an accurate headline for you! No truth-bending like we've seen elsewhere orngtongue.gifSo, here is a topic that is safe to discuss in our own little support-only forum. Thank you Turquesa, for originally posting this in Research for Beginners. This is a great article, and it should be shared everywhere!

Yes, corporate crime in the pharmaceutical industry IS common, serious, and repetitive. This is one of the main reasons I am so skeptical of vaccines--my lack of trust with the manufacturers and the entire vaccine program. Does the corporate crime in the industry influence your decision not to vaccinate?

Wow, what a brilliant article! And how courageous of the doctor to write it--he's sure to be on the prime $hit li$t of the pharmaceutical industry now.

One line jumped out at me as being particularly important:

"Doctors only have access to selected and manipulated information, and they therefore believe drugs are far more effective and safe than they really are. "

Exactly!!!

Doctors are only working with what they've been taught, and what they believe is the best form of care.  It's not some elaborate conspiracy involving thousands of healthcare professionals deliberately trying to harm the public. Those who accuse us of believing so are deliberately trying to discredit us. Simply, the selected and manipulated information given to the healthcare professionals is the source of the problem. It always has been, and that fact is becoming difficult to ignore.

I am friendly with several doctors. I once asked them if they continue to do research about things including diseases/illness and pharmaceuticals. All of them admitted to me that with busy practices and families of their own, their "research" is mostly limited to the studies and literature provided to them by the phrama reps and by pharma funded and sponsored conferences and talks. They however did not see any problem with this winky.gif
