I'm going down the path of discontinuing vaccinations for my 21 month old. The research is steering me in this direction. Is there a pediatrician that will work with me? I live in south Jersey.

hello! im in s.jersey, we go all the way up to stockton in central jersey to see dr freedenfeld at stockton family practice. he has a modified vax sched  to begin with, but is completely accepting of no vax, which is our path. im not worried about being close to a ped, i handle colds and flus and all those things at home. good luck!

Erin, I think I will check that out. This is one worry I should get over...being far away from a Ped if my little Jack gets a cold or fever. I'm so appreciative of you sharing your doctor's name. I really am going down the path of no more vax. I just need a doctor that I can go to and not feel like I have to lug my research or get that nevous feeling in my stomach becuase I will have to fight a battle.

there will be no fight with dr freedenfeld, rest assured. a book i recomend  is by Aviva Jill Romm, "Naturally Healthy Babies and Children". even if you are new to herbs, i think this book is a comfortable book of remedies for any mother. as women, as mothers, we must listen to our Intuition. if we have allowed it to be quieted for long, we must quiet the other voices and allow our guiding voice to return. in a healthy child, a cold or flu is not anything to worry about, it is a healthy response by a healthy immune system. i imagine you may want to look into detoxifying the childs body and rebuilding natural immunity.

health and happiness on your way!
