I'm confused. I watch what ingredients my toddler eats, but doctors roll their eyes when I question about the ingredients they want to inject into my little boy's muscles and blood. It's so frustrating!!!!!ūüė° Why do I have to argue my point every time!!!!!!!

It does lol. My M.D.sister goes so far to tell me that carbs are awesome and organic is all bad. Cake and nutella daily are just peachy for any toddler. Oh and vitamins are useless... That's how M.D.s apparently think.

I really do believe you are exaggerating and dramatising her points.Organic food is not bad, but neither is food grown conventionally.
"Evidence on substantial differences between organic food and conventional food is insufficient to make claims that organic food is safer or healthier than conventional food." http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11833635

There is yet to be a large systemic study that indicates that organic foods are in fact healthier or safer than conventionally grown foods. You do understand organic foods still use pesticides and insecticides? They just have to be "naturally" derived instead of synthetic, this results in a less potent spray meaning MORE has to be used resulting in a higher risk of contamination.

Vitamins are also not useless. They are useless if you are not vitamin deficient however. I see many adults taking Iron vitamins and ensuring they eat lots of liver and meat rich in Iron when it is completely futile. Male adults recycle 100% of the iron in their blood and can manage with the little iron they receive in their diet. The only group that need to be careful are anaemic's and pregnant/menstruating women.
This goes along with all supplements that people take, if you are not in the group that are targeted for supplement usage you will simply excrete the excess and you are wasting money. Vitamin overdoes are also an ever increasing phenomenon because of the lack of understanding of the dangers of vitamins which will lead to children eating bottles full because they look like sweets and aren't packed away with the rest of the medicines. Vitamins are medicines just like anything else.

please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I read that your body processes aluminum differently when it's injected into the muscle than if you ingest it. I will try to locate this article!! I believe it takes your body a very very long time to eliminate some of the toxin as opposed to eliminating 100% of it if you consume it.

Yeah it is shocking for me as well. She says antibiotics in milk and meat are okay, but then complains about more and more resistant bacteria....she says all pharmaceutical doctors concur all vitamins are useless as all westerners get all they need by diet (btw she's a vegetarian)...
Her kids are in antibiotics for every sneeze, most years about 8 rounds of them. She claims I must be lying that my kids never had ear infections as all kids get them. She also says my kids will get tremendously ill soon since they haven't been sick all of their lives yet. Never mind that my son has been in preschools since he was 2.5 years old and where we have been exposed to flu, strep, rota, many stomach flus, pink eye, hand mouth foot and so on. All we evergotwas flflu despite heavy exposure. But yeah she literally is waiting for my kids to fall permanently ill. Just awful.

Wow she must be fun at parties wink1.gif. Seriously though (and I hope you don't take offense to this). This is they type of doctor that SCARES MEEEEEEEEEE . I mean she is out there giving this crappy advice to parents and overtreating children with antibiotics....makes me crazy! and you are related to her!! I'm sure she is lovely in lots of other ways!

I do love her and she had nice sides, but she is stubborn and you can never win an argument, the sky pink if she says so. Family usually is careful around her.I would never want her as my doctor, nor does anyone in the family ever ask her for advice... I'm sorry for her patients.
