I looked and couldn't find much but does anyone know which vaccines can shed? Which are live viruses?

It looks like your post might have been missed, so I'm bumping it up for attention. :bump: Anyone have a resource with this information to share?

The rotavirus vaccine is very contagious if there is contact with the baby's poop. FluMist (the nasal spray flu vaccine) is contagious for at least 21 days, according to its package insert. Chickenpox (varicella) and the MMR are also live virus vaccines with the potential to shed. Also, the shingles vaccine. The smallpox vaccine and the oral polio vaccine also shed, but the oral polio vaccine is not used in the United States, and the smallpox vaccine is only given to the military.

Yellow fever is a live virus vaccine. It is REQUIRED by persons traveling to East Africa and parts of China.

I like this article on shedding:

Are you worried about shedding?

There is a battle of two wolves inside us.  One is good and the other is evil.  The wolf that wins is the one you feed.

Book and herb loving mama to 1 preteen and 2 teens (when did that happen?).  We travel, go to school, homeschool, live rurally, eat our veggies, spend too much time...
