Just keep researching, being fully educated is the only way to make a decision.
Good luck and congrats on your new little one!
It comes from the CDC and reports all cases of vaccine preventable diseases. You need to click on CURRENT ISSUE and then scroll down to around page 100 and you will see every case reported in the US.
Then you can go to info from the CDC and look up each disease individually.
You can see how rare these diseases really are and how rare the complications are if you do end up getting sick. It really puts things into perspective. Some of the stats seem a little off but that is for you to decide and research.
It’s quite shocking once you get down to the nitty gritty of vaccines.
Then there is the whole issue of the ingredients in vaccines. It's not just the mercury that is bad even though that's the only one you hear about on the news. Here are just a few to make your head spin that I got from this website
phenol (used as a disinfectant), aluminum (associated with alzheimer’s disease and seizures), glycerin (toxic to the kidney, liver, can cause lung damage, gastrointestinal damage and death), lead, cadmium, sulfates, yeast proteins, antibiotics, acetone (used in nail polish remover), neomycin and streptomycin. And the ingredient making the press is thimerosol (more toxic than mercury, a preservative still used in many vaccines, not easily eliminated, can cause severe neurological damage as well as other life threatening autoimmune disease). These vaccines are grown and strained through animal or human tissue, like monkey and dog kidney tissue, chick embryo, calf serum, human diploid cells (the dissected organs of aborted fetuses), pig blood, horse blood and rabbit brain.
This link will show you the package insert for every vaccine on the market in the US. You can look them up and see the ingredients used, the trials done, how effective they are, etc. Save this link because it is a really good one.
This video is amazing!!!
It is by Dr. Tenpenny. She is a pediatrician who did over 7000 hours of research on vaccines. She went through all the cdc documents, studies, etc and put together this dvd. She goes over every vaccine, the history, the risks of the disease, etc. It really helped me out with DH who was very pro vaccine before watching this video which led to more research.
This video is great too:
Then there is this website:
It is a vaccine reaction database. You can do searches for different reactions to different vaccines. It’s a little hard to navigate at first but the easiest way to read it is to click on Event Category and Vaccine in the top portion called “organize table layout” and then go down to the “Select Vaccine Products” and choose the ones you are interested in. Then under “select event characteristics” I normally select death or permanent disability. Then you can pick a year they were vaccinated and submit. It gives you a nice little chart of how many people died from the vaccine. You can change your search criteria to meet whatever you are looking for.
It’s very handy when comparing how many people died to the disease compared to how many people had a permanent disability or death from the vaccine.
There is also this website which is full of articles written by Hillary Butler. She is well known in the non vax circle and very informed. Her book is called Just a Little Prick.
So what I did was make a binder with a tab for each disease that has a vaccine and started reading. I printed off all the info I could find and put it in the binder and slowly started reading. It’s a great way to archive the info and refresh your memory when you aren’t sure about the facts.
That should get you started on your search
Hi.I have a 4 month old son & am being pressured by his pedi to vax him.I just can't get over this gut feeling that it is a bad idea.I have researched but can't really find any good sites that really explain the ingredients & side effects and all that..Anyone have any advice or good web sites? Thanks a bunch.
Please don't let anyone pressure you to inject all that stuff (crap) into your child. If your gut instincts tell you that it's a bad idea, trust yourself. You are the mom and this is your child. The ped has his/her own kids to do as s/he pleases.
Here is a good site for ingredients -
