Research each vaccine and disease individually.

My kids are unvaxed and very healthy.

Look up the CDC and ingredients. You'll find out what they put in the vaccines, which is just as troubling as what they can do to your kids. I just read about one that had monkey kidney cells in it. Is that something I really want in my child's body?

Just keep researching, being fully educated is the only way to make a decision.

Insidevaccines.com is a good site. My kids 6 and 20 mo are not vaxed and VERY healthy. Follow your gut. That's what got me researching. I am so glad I did! It takes a lot of effort and research to feel 100% about your decision, but it's worth it. You also may have to shop around for a good doc that won't pressure you or kick you out of the practice. We found a good family practitioner. They are usually not as ridiculous as peds can be.
Good luck and congrats on your new little one!

Here is a great source of info.

It comes from the CDC and reports all cases of vaccine preventable diseases. You need to click on CURRENT ISSUE and then scroll down to around page 100 and you will see every case reported in the US.

Then you can go to info from the CDC and look up each disease individually.

You can see how rare these diseases really are and how rare the complications are if you do end up getting sick. It really puts things into perspective. Some of the stats seem a little off but that is for you to decide and research.

It’s quite shocking once you get down to the nitty gritty of vaccines.

Then there is the whole issue of the ingredients in vaccines. It's not just the mercury that is bad even though that's the only one you hear about on the news. Here are just a few to make your head spin that I got from this website

phenol (used as a disinfectant), aluminum (associated with alzheimer’s disease and seizures), glycerin (toxic to the kidney, liver, can cause lung damage, gastrointestinal damage and death), lead, cadmium, sulfates, yeast proteins, antibiotics, acetone (used in nail polish remover), neomycin and streptomycin. And the ingredient making the press is thimerosol (more toxic than mercury, a preservative still used in many vaccines, not easily eliminated, can cause severe neurological damage as well as other life threatening autoimmune disease). These vaccines are grown and strained through animal or human tissue, like monkey and dog kidney tissue, chick embryo, calf serum, human diploid cells (the dissected organs of aborted fetuses), pig blood, horse blood and rabbit brain.

This link will show you the package insert for every vaccine on the market in the US. You can look them up and see the ingredients used, the trials done, how effective they are, etc. Save this link because it is a really good one.

This video is amazing!!!

It is by Dr. Tenpenny. She is a pediatrician who did over 7000 hours of research on vaccines. She went through all the cdc documents, studies, etc and put together this dvd. She goes over every vaccine, the history, the risks of the disease, etc. It really helped me out with DH who was very pro vaccine before watching this video which led to more research.

This video is great too:

Then there is this website:

It is a vaccine reaction database. You can do searches for different reactions to different vaccines. It’s a little hard to navigate at first but the easiest way to read it is to click on Event Category and Vaccine in the top portion called “organize table layout” and then go down to the “Select Vaccine Products” and choose the ones you are interested in. Then under “select event characteristics” I normally select death or permanent disability. Then you can pick a year they were vaccinated and submit. It gives you a nice little chart of how many people died from the vaccine. You can change your search criteria to meet whatever you are looking for.

It’s very handy when comparing how many people died to the disease compared to how many people had a permanent disability or death from the vaccine.

There is also this website which is full of articles written by Hillary Butler. She is well known in the non vax circle and very informed. Her book is called Just a Little Prick.

So what I did was make a binder with a tab for each disease that has a vaccine and started reading. I printed off all the info I could find and put it in the binder and slowly started reading. It’s a great way to archive the info and refresh your memory when you aren’t sure about the facts.

That should get you started on your search

Please don't let anyone pressure you to inject all that stuff (crap) into your child. If your gut instincts tell you that it's a bad idea, trust yourself. You are the mom and this is your child. The ped has his/her own kids to do as s/he pleases.

Here is a good site for ingredients -

Wow, this should be a sticky with all these great links! I, too, was very unsure about only two vaccinations when my first child was born. I had a homeopathic MD who told me to skip all of them except two, and I felt very nervous about not following his advice. I mean, even the alternative doctor was telling me "just get these two". And really my gut was telling me don't do any at all, but I felt scared and unsure of myself. I can honestly say that the more I research, teh more I talk to people, and the more people I meet whose children (full grown!) are completely unvaxed, I feel more and more sure of my decision. So, I would say, you have an awesome opportunity to use this forum, vent all your fears, and research each and every one. Trust your instinct.

Do the research. But then... you have to come to a place where you don't live in fear. I am not vaxing my kids, but it's not because I am "afraid" of the effects of vaccines (although that is a concern). For me, it has to do with your perspective of health, what it means & how we attain it. Does our health come from external means - medicines, injections, etc? Or is our body designed to take care of itself if we provide it the right environment. Do you down a bottle of cold medicine every time you feel the sniffles coming on? If you are the kind of person that relies on medicine, you should probably do some research into natural approaches to healthcare in general. Go find a naturopath or chiropractor. Trust that they will help you and you will learn so much about your health.
