My DD is going to a cute little private preschool soon, and here's what I came up with for an 'exemption' letter. The director of the school doesn't care about kids and vaxes, but says she needs to have a letter on file in case the board of health drops by.
Anyway, I came up with the following brief statement. She said it didn't need to include state codes or anything, just 'a letter'.
To Whom it May Concern:
The practice of vaccination is deeply antithetical to our religious, philosophical, spiritual, intellectual realities. Thus, as parents and full legal guardians of ---, this letter serves to formally announce that any perceived 'lack' of vaccinations is due to having two informed and loving parents, and not due to any form of neglect or ignorance.
I feel a little rude, in regards to the director, who seems ultra kind. I just kind of want to cover bases in case the BOH ever does look at it.
Boy this stuff makes me edgy!
