I'm sure this doesn't come up for a lot of you, because you homeschool or don't see traditional medical professionals or whatever, but this is really starting to bother me..

I want to tell people my son regressed! I want to tell them that there are studies that prove that preemies are highly susceptible to aluminum toxicity, and that almost everything that preemies are at risk for are signs of aluminum toxicity!! I want to open people's eyes to what's in vaccines and what they're putting their children at risk for, whenever someone feels the need to tell me what the ramifications for not vaxing are.. but I feel like I need to stay under the radar.. DS will most likely eventually be going to school and I don't want to F things up unintentionally, you know?

When I was faslely accused of SBS after my daughter suffered vaccine injury I researched hard. Once I found what I found, at first I couldn't believe it. Its like a movie, or a conspiracy theory or something. But there it is, in black and white, in their very OWN medical literature. The powers that be KNOW about it. This angered me. This saddened me. That is why I post. That is why I talk to people I know who have kids. That is why I continue to research. Their BS keeps getting more and more silly and parents are starting to catch on, big time.

You have a right to feel the way you do.

Use that feeling for good.

Wow; you successfully challenged a false SBS? Do you have links to any of this literature? I'd like to keep it around; about once a year I see someone post about being in this position or a friend.

Why do you think you need to stay under the radar, or in other words, what problems/harm do you think can come about by telling people the truth about vaccines? I think its very helpful to share personal stories about how vaccines proved to be harmful and perhaps ineffective because its helping to spread the truth and so many people just don't know it and don't know to research it or how to find the research. I've read through so many of those web sites from parents of vaccine damaged children and also from adults who suffered vaccine damage as adults and I think that its very helpful to others to share personal stories of what happened because it helps people know about the true dangers of vaccines.

i am afraid that if I tell people that I stopped vaxing because my son regressed, then later when i try to file a religious exemption i won't be able to because i'll be "on record" already. like, I don't know who school officials are in this town, or where my son will even be going to school, so i don't want to let something "slip" to the wrong person.. ultimately, though, I really believe that one can have both a philosophical and a religious opposition

I don't think your experience would negate the validity of a religious exemption. You could explain that this experience caused you to stop and reevaluate your understanding of God's will and that you now believe you sinned but are forgiven (from a Christian POV, not sure how to adapt for other religious backgrounds). The argument has certainly been used, and can be quite powerful, with other things we believe we have done against God's will. If you can come to feel that this explanation is valid and appropriate (if you think it is, of course) then that fear may fade a bit and allow you to be comfortable enough to share in situations when it seems appropriate.

My situation is easier a) because Texas has a pick-and-choose philosophical exemption, and b) we're homeschooling anyway. But something bad would have happened to my son if we'd vaccinated him. We're all affected by the mercury in my fillings and his immune system is already messed up, vaccines would have made a bad situation much, much worse. Already it will take us all a couple years to undo the damage in all of us. So I understand wanting people to understand that there are choices besides vaccination, and maybe they should consider that maybe they won't know the risk until too late if they follow the 2mo, 4mo, 6mo etc schedule.

I'm so sorry! I have a question for you, can the brain bleed happen to older kids after vaccines too? Is it certain vaxes, or all of them?

Tis the season, for hot apple cider!

Yes, do share. I believe that in Activism there is a thread about a mama who lost her baby to CPS and is accused of SBS from what is possibly a vaccine reaction. I'm sure any information you have about your case could potentially be very helpful over there.
