Socks last me forever. I'm really not sure why. I only seem to ever get rid of them when I lose one of a pair. I recently realized that the pair I was looking at had been purchased when I was pregnant with my now-12-year-old!

I have a ton of cookware and kitchen gadgets that were in my mother's home the whole time I was growing up. I still make cream of wheat for dd in the same pot in which my mother made cream of wheat for me! (I never remember to add the raisins with the water, so they get nice and plump, like she did, though.)
