We have a microwave oven that "sort of" works (i.e., it heats but you have to stop it every 30 seconds and move the food around... seems to heat in mainly one spot). Any ideas on where we can get rid of it? There is not a recycling facility in our area that will accept microwaves.

our local trash service picks up appliances for a small fee. they dispose of items in the proper fashion instead of just popping in the landfill.
