My DH's tape measure broke-it won't slide back in and I was wondering if anyone had any creative reuses for it. If not, how do I recycle it? Also, we have several (!) spray nozzles for the yard that are broken. What to do with those?

If you have or know a little boy or have a little girl either yours or in your life who likes tools you could take a wooden picture frame and attach the tape measure around the edge. You will have to cut the tape measure but it could look really cute.

Or attach it to the back edge of a work bench in the garage or basement work area or even a sewing table.

I have no idea where you could recycle them.

if the spray nozzles are metal, you can recycle them with someone who collects metal to make money. I found a person on craigslist. He took anything metal, little racks and fans. If the tape measure is metal then maybe he would take that too.
