A big hunk of one of my maple trees fell off it onto my roof.

What can I do with the bits?

We are thinking of making a teepee for the kids to play in from some of the long branches but there are also big logs. What else could we do with it?

We have burning here so whatever we don't find a use for will likely be burned, given on craigslist or stuck in woodchipper

our landlord had a pecan tree in our backyard chopped down summer before last

i wouldn't let them take it away and dp and ds stacked the branches and logs to make a fort. Ds loves it, it looks really cool (visitors to our garden always comment on the fort), and is darn steady and stable considering there are no nails or anything. Only problem i have with it is having to take it down and move all those logs/branches to the garage everytime a hurricane threatens and then rebuilding it after the storm passes.
