Replacement for Ziploc bags - Mothering Forums

I don't use a ton of these, and I do wash and reuse them, but eventually they split or get too yucky. Does anyone make something that can replace these that is reusable? I want something waterproof, not the thin net/muslin produce bags. Like something made of PUL? Reusablebags.com didn't seem to have what I wanted. I want something to replace the big ones, not the little baggies. I use these for things like loaves of bread or leftover pizza or melon or baked goods--large, awkwardly sized stuff. Containers are not what I want.

I haven't done it yet but i plan to make ziploc type bags out of PUL and zipper. i'm going to make some snack size ones for the kids, some sandwich sized ones and some bigger ones because i seem to use the big size the most.

I'm guessing I'd be able to wash them in the dishwasher or the washing machine.

I have a bunch of different sized snack bags a friend gave me - they are probably what you're looking for! I have seen them on Etsy, and here. They're awesome and so cute! If I could sew I'd make tons of them!

Hmm-maybe this? I definitely want something I could rinse out and dry on a baggie rack...like with a waterproof surface, you know? Are yours like that?
