Oh, great. Now I'm lusting after a home hand dryer. 
I've read that air dryers are not as good as regular drying (with paper or cloth) because even thought you've just washed the friction helps remove residual germs and dirt/grime. Also the air flow just stirs up all the germs and bacteria and creates a warm moist environment for things to grow.

We just use standard towels and I don't think too much on it!

germy hand dryers

yeah, I've heard the same thing too that the mechanical hand dryers actually are a great environment for germs to multiply in. Plus, then they get blown onto your hands.
