hi all, is there a way to recycle my old tennis shoes that are in too poor of condition to donate? Any chance there is a way to do it for free, I dont' want to throw them in the trash, but I also don't really want to have to pay to ship them somewhere ykwim?
This is a somewhat old post, but I wanted to make you, and others, aware of the web resource Earth911. It's a great way to find out where to recycle all sorts of random things in your area - from shoes to applicances, etc. Hope that helps!
Oops, I'm noticing it's more than just an old post - it dates back to April! This may be a case of too little too late (I'd be flabbergasted if the OP still has her old, holey sneaks hanging around!), but hopefully it can be a resource for others . . .
