I've given Lovey an eviction notice. She has to vacate my womb on December 20th.

That's how it works right? Mothers give orders - children obey.

What? Delusional? Why would you say I'm delusional?

Hmm...well I guess it depends on your perspective.

The average first time mom goes something like 41W2D...though I have met a few moms who consistently go at 37-38...you could be one of those.

Perpetually breastfeeding or pregnant ENFP mom to a lot of kids...wife to a midwestern nice guy...living in tropical paradise...pink cats and homebirths rock!

Hey, not to get your hopes up or anything, but my first (and second too actually) was born 5 days before her EDD.

I'm 38 weeks Saturday... we've tried sex, orgasms, bumpy roads, spicy food this week. So much for getting him out a little early. I guess he will take his time. This is going to be the longest 2-3 weeks of my life!

lol

It would be neat if it worked that way... my family thinks they can tell the LO.

My Dad actually surprised me... he usually doesn't show too much emotion of anything, but out of nowhere he told me he is taking me for a bumpy ride through the feilds where he lives on Jan. 1st. lol

If babies listened, mine would be mighty confused at the moment. I'd be happy to go anytime now, my MW wants me to wait through the weekend (she's off call), my MIL wants me to wait until the week after T-giving, but not around Xmas, and my mom wants me to go now or not until after Dec. 6.....I'm personally in the sooner is better boat at current, but man, my poor kid is getting directions from every side!

That's funny... I was just reading this and thinking maybe we'd all go a little earlier:

SAGITTARIUS - The Happy-Go-Lucky One (Nov 22 - Dec 21)
Good-natured optimist. Doesn't want to grow up (Peter Pan Syndrome). Indu lges self. Boastful. Likes luxuries and gambling. Social and outgoing. Doesn't like responsibilities. Often fantasizes. Impatient. Fun to be around. Having lots of friends. Flirtatious. Doesn't like rules. Sometimes hypocritical. Dislikes being confined. Doesn't like being doubted.

Hmmm.... Perhaps the LO is trying to tell me she'd rather come in Decmeber? lol

I seriously feel she is mad at her lack of space right now... ever since I think she dropped Wednesday night (it feels and looks way different!) she has been more active than I have ever felt her before. Squirming all the time and jabbing at the bottom and top like she wants out and to stretch out. There is not much quiet time in there right now...

Well, all joking aside I'll be happy if she comes before January. But for some reason I've fixated on the 20th. :

Try using reverse psychology, it might work best...plan something important on the day you want her to come out.

I was originally thinking the 20th too, but now I think anytime after December 6th would be good for me. My DH thinks we are going to have a November baby but I just think 36-37 weeks is too soon!
