Haven't gotten a hold of the acutal study yet but here are two site that have quoted it. If you google it there are more. Just published in Child Development this week.

It makes complete sense. The differences weren't very big but were noticeable. Heck, I can't focus with background tv going, but then, I grew up tv free.

I don't come here anymore. MDC has become overgrown with ads & useless extra forums.

I got an email about this study just this week. Fascinating. I think it was in Thinking Outside the Box that talked about this very thing in an anecdotal way (or maybe it was some other book, I can't remember. . .).
