I went to altvetmed where you can find info on holistic care for animals. There I found out that they are trying to ban the sale of supplements made for pets. Which means that there won't be any vitamins, herbs, etc that are made in the doses that are good for animals. Also, there won't be any companies studying the effects of supplements on animals.
I feel it's obvious that they are doing this to protect companies that make and sale patentable substances. They tried to do the same thing a while back regarding human supplements, and a letter writing campaign stopped them. I know many of you here would be unhappy to hear you might not be able to buy supplements for your pets, neither over-the-counter nor from a vet. Hopefully, some of you will follow this link and write some letters to stop this atrocity.
Thanks for reading this post.
