Hi HM,

I was wondering if you had a good website or book to recommend that would give ideas for treating diseases naturally. My dd was exposed to chicken pox and I thought I remember you talking about an increase in vits A and C being helpful.

I just started thinking about this and that it would be helpful to have a good resource for any illness she might get. They are expecting a measles outbreak here this year and it would be good for me to read up on this stuff. Thanks for any ideas!

Also, I asked a question in the vax forum about vit A, would you mind reading it and letting me know if you know the answer.

Thanks, HM.

I recommend 2 books-
SMART MEDICINE FOR A HEALTHIER CHILD by Janet Zand
NATURALLY HEALTHY BABIES AND CHILDREN by Aviva Romm
The first one has lots of ideas for different problems & diseases-homeopathy,nutrition,conventional
The Aviva Romm one has herb based recipes (the Chicken Soup one is great)

Thanks for those book recommendations because I really couldn't think of anything specific to her question other than Adelle Davis' book "Let's Have Healthy Children". And unfortunately it is out of print; however, used copies can still be bought at places like Amazon. Anything by Adelle is a goldmine.

Sites like www.doctoryourself.com and www.mercola.com have natural treatment info. And both sites have a search feature.

Mom at Home, you'll see that I gave additional info over at the Vax Forum.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have to look around for those. I couldn't find chickenpox on the doctoryourself website, but maybe it's on the other one.
