We were at Six Flags for 9.5 hours yesterday ... LOTS of walking, up and down hill. Today, massive pain, including a red, hard knot in the arch of my foot, and a raised, red ridge from that knot to the middle of my foot. OUCH!

I know I really should see a doctor, but we don't have any walk-in clinics here, so it's either go to the ER or wait til Monday. On Tuesday we have to travel to spend the week with my in-laws while my FIL has bypass surgery. I'm taking ibuprofen and icing/heatpacking it ... any other advice?

I'm wondering about plantar fasciitis or a stress fracture, or some kind of neuroma (my family has major foot issues ... ) any thoughts? I can walk, but the nausea from the dull ongoing pain is leaving me very dazed and lethargic ...
