Been dizzy for a couple of weeks..... - Mothering Forums

For the past couple of weeks I've been dizzy. I am avoiding the doctors office and the urgent care because last time I was there, there was people hacking and coughing. I haven't been driving much because of the dizziness. If I look up, I get dizzy, if I turn my head too fast, I get dizzy. When I lay down, I'm dizzy. When I stand up, I'm dizzy. It doesn't help if I move slower. I checked my blood pressure and it was 84/43. I've never been that low before. Only other symptoms I've had are pure exhaustion, weight gain, headaches......

If you sit still, and move your head slowly (down, up, side to side, etc.), can you find a position in which you are/become dizzy and a position in which you are not? Also, are you lightheaded (e.g., you feel like you might faint) or do you have vertigo (e.g., you feel like the room spins)?

With those symptoms I would seriously consider looking at your adrenals:

Both. I haven't been driving much in this time because at random times I just get dizzy. I went to walk outside yesterday and I felt drunk. Felt like I couldn't even walk a straight line.

you migh wanna have your adrenals checked, as well as your b12, MCH, folate, and vit D levels. actually, they should do a full chem panel. there was a time that was happening to me and my BP was low too. i have vit b12 issues. id bet its something like that, which is totally rectifiable.

also, if you have any sort of inflammation of the joints in the your neck, you can get cervical vertigo which can be eased with manipulation.

Ok, SOOO weird. I have this lump where my neck meets my shoulders (not sure which vertibrae it is). I'll take a picture and post it.

Ok, so it's super hard to get a picture of your neck....standing sideways, lol.

I've always been kind of hunchbacked, a little bit. We thought after I got a breast reduction my posture would improve, but the bump is still there. I actually was seeing a physiotherapist about my TMJ and he thinks that my TMJ stems from bad alignment in my neck. Probably time to try the chiropractor again.

a good PT would be able to help you with CV if thats whats bothering you. are you taking any vitamins?
