Hi All!

Is there a Transitional Menopausal Group? I'm 43 and my Midwife just diagnosed me. She was very helpful and offered suggestions for trying to keep things as " normal " as possible. LOL!!! Anyway, I'm not sure I'm ready to give up on my fertility...we've been trying to have another baby. Not stressing about things though. Just wondering if there are any other moms out there going through the same and what you have found useful...diet, herbs, yoga and such.

Thanks!

Gerlassie.

Glad you found some info. Not sure what you found, but I would recommend reading up on perimenopause (what some call transitional menopause) at Women to Women dot com -- a really excellent holistic health website that's also a clinic in Maine (founded by none other than Christiane Northrup). Here's a good overview of perimenopause -- good luck! I am just in the beginning, "info gathering" stages, too! Perimenopause — the beginning of hormonal change

Here's a great article from Susun Weed:
Healthy Menopausal Years The Wise Woman Way
tons of info about using herbs and different alternative approaches.
