It's the pollen in the trees
that makes your mommy sneeze.

DS wanted to know why mommy was sneezing so much! I love spring except for the sneezing, coughing and itchy eyes I have to endure. Any good remedies out there? I used to take a prescription drug for it, but gave that up years ago because I didn't think it was really necessary.

When I was pregnant I had no hay fever or seasonal allergies at all! It was great! But I can't be pregnant every spring...

Well, there's nettles infusion....but you're really supposed to start that before allergy season starts......

Maybe you can get locally made bee pollen, around here we have people who save bee pollen made during different times of the season, so it has the pollens that are around when you are having allergy symptoms....

Nettles (I use capsules) really does work wonders! You do have to remember to start them a few weeks before allergy season starts though. Definitely worth marking your calendar for!

You're welcome

Nettles have been working for me fairly well, I have to remember to drink lots of water so my mucous membranes don't dry out. ('course I'm taking raspberry leaf with my nettles, and that's an astringent and diuretic.....)
