I am going on vacation in a few weeks and my period will be starting at the same point. I get very heavy periods and that will be hard with all of the hiking and water activities planned. Is there a natural suppressent that will not cause me discomfort?

, I was thinking the same thing Ruthla.

I don't really think there is anything you can do (naturally) to stop your periods all together. Healthwise, you don't want to stop it. It is unhealthy to not menstraute (unless you are pregnant or breastfeeding of course). I think taking supplements like evening primrose oil, b vitamins, vitex, calendual, chasteberry, etc. will help regulate your hormones. This might make your period more comfortable. But, (unless you get pregnant ) it will still come.
