I saw that in the newspaper this morning. The article I read said the study results were based on records of a people called Sami between 1640 and 1870 they were a nomadic people in Finland. It seems they kept very good church records which is why these records were chosen. They think it has to with maternal resources used by boys and won't apply to women today. I found it interesting but found the headline misleading when I read the article.
I have 2 boys and have a hard time believing it but the article I read stated that it had more to do with the strenuous birth because boys weigh more generally speaking. Sounds like a pretty lame study if you ask me.
I don't have any girls yet but I would think they would be more likely to suck the life right out of you once they start puberty!
