My son has had a low grade fever for about 3 days now. He is getting some molars in. He also has had a runny nose for over a week. No other signs of illness. Could the teething be the reason for the fever???

I honestly don't know if teething causes a fever or not. People certainly have strong opinions one way or the other. My own children often had mild diahrea when teething. It happened so many times that I'm not sure it was a coincidence. Possibly whatever is causing the runny nose is also causing the fever. My ds will often run a low grade fever even for a mild cold that doesn't cause a fever in his siblings.
