My sweet little boy had a nasty stomach bug.  Five days of vomiting.  He is better.  Energy, appetite but he is different.  He is just so irritable, screams and yells a lot, has a hair trigger.  I had him checked out at the doctor to see if something else was wrong.

I was thinking about starting him on a probiotic.  Maybe to heal up his tummy?  Any suggesions on which one?

Any thoughts?

Sounds like my 3-year old. I remember when I had my first child I realized (slowly!) that the symptoms of the disease would heal, but healing his "soul" took at least the same amount of days that his body had been sick. My 3-YO had the stomach bug and a nasty ear infection so he was pretty out of it for a couple of weeks - and he's not even close to being back to his good old self yet. I live in another country than you but I've been giving him yoghurt with probiotics. Good luck!

yogurt doesnt really have nearly enough probiotics especially after vomiting that much.  i take and give my son probiotics from natures sunshine:

member price is much cheaper, i give my son 1 a day for maintenance, i just open capsule and put in mouth, he loves it, it tastes pretty good.  you could also add in applesauce or anything cold really.
