I had surgery three weeks ago to remove a tumor from my thigh. The incision is about 7" long. The healing process seems to be going okay although there is still a lot of healing of nerves, blood vessels, muscle, tendons, skin, etc. to come. I'm wondering what I can do nutritionally, homeopathically, etc. to support healing and prevent scar tissue formation. I don't think that I can apply anything topically or do massage or the like yet (just got the stitches out 6 days ago and the area is REALLY tender/sensitive still), but I can certainly consume helpful things. TIA!

Wife to my DH Mama to my two girls  hearts.gif'03 and love.gif '06 and my sweet babyboy.gif 3-'10 I am blessed.

I'd be doing:

zinc-important for cellular repair

tissue salts can help, I'd just do bioplasma

calendula tincture on the wound (diluted with water)

follow up with tamanu oil to help with tissue granulization.

Best of luck!
