I just restarted taking iodine (400mcg of magnascent Iodine) a week ago and now I am starting to wake up at 4 am, I generally feel a dull exhaustion throughout the day and I can fall asleep just fine, but then I wake up at 4. What nutrients have helped for this symptom?
I am taking b complex
selenium (200 mcg)
I eat liver every 2 weeks and I think I am out in the sun enough to get vit d this time of year.

It is my understanding that these help rid the system of the bromide and other stuff that iodine causes to detox.
As for your sleeping/exhaustion issues, how are your adrenals? I ask b/c I had this same thing before I started adrenal support b/c after testing I learned my hypothalamic pacing of adrenals was off - I had marginal HPA Axis during the day (causing exhaustion) and then my adrenals tried to rally at night while I rested, causing a burst of cortisol production which kept me awake. Of course it could something else in your case, but just wanted to offer in case it helps.
I use an herbal formula called AdrenoBoost. I had to use cortisol replacement for awhile when my adrenals first tanked, but I weaned off and now I'm doing really good w/ these drops.
