Hi Everyone,

I need some help please. I am 41 years old and in the last month my face has broke out and I have severe acne. I also am getting pimples on my back, chest and neck.  I would like to know if there is something natural that I can use to help to clear this up. This is very unusual for me I only usually get one or two pimples when I get af. The only other time that I had severe acne was over 20 years ago when I was pregnant with DD. Also my skin has become very dry. Any suggestions? I would really like to use something natural if possible. Thank you.

I forgot to add that I normally wash my face twice a day and my skin has always been pretty normal, not too dry or oily. I have not changed any soap or product that would cause this. It is not a rash. It is full blown looks like a teenager acne. Please help. I am unemployed right now and don't have insurance to go to the doctor. I would rather use something natural anyway.

Do you use lots of skin products (serums, cleansers, creams, etc...)?  I was just reading an article from somewhere that talked about how skin can become irritated and rebel against too many products, even if you have been able to use them easily in the past.

It could be something hormonal...

I've found the best natural treatment for acne is good ol' baking soda.  Simply wet your face and then scrub baking soda powder all over and rinse off.  Follow with a good face oil-- I like Jojoba oil.  Contrary to popular belief, oil will not cause further breakouts, but it will sooth enflamed skin.
