I have a 7 year old on the couch that is just covered in chicken pox... we were using some aveeno calamine + antihistamine lotion that helped a lot, but it was a really small bottle and we ran out right around bed time. She just woke up 20 minutes ago MISERABLE and I stuck her in an oatmeal bath because I can't think of anything else. I can't run out to the store, I'm a single mom with 2 other sleeping kids... is there anything else I can do?? Do we just suffer through the night till I can get something in the morning? I have a 10mg claritin but I don't want to give it to her as we were using the lotion that had antihistamine in it already.

:(

Did the oatmeal bath work?

Baking soda bath is another one to try.
