Hi, I hope someone can help. I have painful burning symptoms because of Goup B streptococcus vaginal infection. My doctor is unable to treat with antibiotics, this has been going on for months. Does anyone have a solution for me? Thanks.

Nursing at keyboard, so can't type too much... but: Garlic. A clove before bed inserted vaginally. Nick it a bit to "activate" it. Take out in morning. Repeat.

Also, a good probiotic taken 1st thing in morning pre breakfast.

Hi I have the same problem as you. I have severe burning most of the time due to group b strep. I was given augmentin but that did not help. Please let me know if you find any solutions.

Hi,

Member Ghannit recommended a glove of garlic inserted vaginally before bedtime, with the tip snipped off to activate it. Also, a prebiotic taken in the morning before breakfast. Let me know how it works for you.

Hi,

Ghannit's note actually said to 'nick at the garlic a bit' rather than 'cut the tip off ' ( sorry my error). I cut the tip off and found the sensation rather intense after insertion. Nicking at it is far more comfortable.

I would also like to know any improvement as well since I dealt with Strep B and am not sure if I still am.
