I will be flying with my 5 month old (well she will be just about 6 months when we go) in the beginning of October. I want to boost her immune systen as much as I can before we go and have always relied on Astragalus and echinechea for my older DS. Anyone know about these for a smaller baby? Of course anything you buy says 2 yrs and older but I know this is just a CYA thing for most natural and herbal remedies.

She already takes Vit D and probiotics. She has her first cold right now and Ive added a bit of Vit C as well.

Astragalus and echinacea are both fine for babies the age of yours. Consider adding astragalus root to some simple broth for her. I would also feel fine about giving an echinacea extract, tea or infusion to a baby for immune support.
