I would really love some of your expert mommy tips with this one......we're heading to CHOP in a few days to consult with yet another urolgist/surgeon for my dd....she has kidney reflux and we're hoping this new doctor will think she's a candidate for a laproscopic/robotic procedure for urterer repair.  Her current doctor wants to do something similar to a C-Section and I'm just not liking that option at all....the lapro procdure would only be about two days max...one in H, and one at home...where at the other way would be 3 in H, and up to 7 at home....

Has anyone had this done (or your child)....what questions did you ask....or looking back, what do you wish you would have known before the procedure.......any tips or suggestions?

We're finding out that a robotic procedure could be tricky....meaning that the doctor doesn't even need to be present at the hospital...but it depends on the situation........

Again, anything you can share would be greatly appreciated.
