my ds, now 4.5 yr old, has had swollen lymph nodes in his neck for at least 2 years, if not more.  this is the first time im reading about castor oil packs.  hes had blood work done every ear and everything has come back normal, no allergies as well according to blood work.

after googling stuff, im starting to get a little scared though...it just doesnt seem right to have it for so long?  whats bothering me is that hes been getting so many colds the past year which hasnt been his norm prior.

anyway, how would i do this for a 4 yr old?  while watching tv? reading a book?  3 times a week for an hour each? and when should i notice results?

thank you!

I would definitely have his blood drawn for food allergies...gluten, egg, dairy and soy are all allergens that my friends son has and once he was off them for a year his glands in his neck finally went down.. Does he have dark circles under his eyes, rosy cheeks, abnormally bad behavior, moodiness, body aches, belly aches, headaches?? V.

he was tested for all major allergens about 6 months ago and everything came back negative.  he does have dark circles under his eyes and always has.  as well as myself and husband.  behavior? id say hes a pretty great kid but does have a temper, though i think thats more of not getting enough attention with a new baby.

im wondering if he got so many colds this past year because it was the first year without nursing as well as moving to a dry dusty climate??
