Sorry for bringing this up in public, but since quitting dairy, I can't go to the bathroom. How do I get this pile of junk out of me? I do drink plenty of water and eat my veggies, but they don't do the trick.

Thank you for any advice!

Are you on a good probiotic daily? We use Natren's Healthy Trinity - comes in dairy free.

Also, consider CLO or a magnesium supplement. I have found that ACV mixed in water with a little juice also helps. You could try vitamin c, too.

If you want something natural, try barley. Barley is a natural laxative. Just take a small amount, rinse off any dust, then put it in a cup, pour boiling water in and let cool enough to drink.

There used to be a cereal with barley in it -- Purely O's. Mostly oat, but with enough barley to have an effect. I used it for my son and a friend's daughter, when occasions arose.

Another possibilty is coconut water.

Hope you are feeling relief soon!

Thanks for posting! I use Jarro-DOPHILUS, it has 0.01 dairy in it, not that much, I figure. I've been taking CLO on and off and Dr. Gilliam fuzzy magnesium drink. What os ACV?

I will get some barley and see what happens! I will try coconut water. I actually hear some people use cultures to ferment it. It could be a good help, too. Thanks!

Make sure you give the one you try first a chance to work. Barley works within 24 hours.

Coconut kefir worked like magic for my DH who was constipated after a hospital stay and IV antibiotics. I gave him inner-eco brand which is local to us, so I am not sure how widely available it is.
