I am on a detox, not too drastic as we are already a pretty healthy family. However, I am disheartened to see that I am getting blems on my face, which I have never had before. Anyone??????

It is not uncommon to experience symptoms such as skin problems, headaches, etc. while the toxins leave your system. I don't get zits, but I do get eczema/psoriasis flare-ups while detoxing.

I occasionally have acne, but I've definitely broken out worse when I've done fasting and when I've cut out certain foods (dairy, white sugar/flour) from my diet.

Those are exactly the food groups I've eliminated from my diet!! I feel great, by the way! Any suggestions for getting rid of toxic acne?

In my experience after about two weeks of horrible zits, they go away and my skin is better than ever.
