i had it inserted a year and 1/2 ago and i have had bad cramps and odor and loss of hair and mood swings and just  found out i have a bv,also  an nabothian cyst.i loved not having my periods but all the symptoms i have were not worth it i have also gained alot of weight in my  midsection.and i am a healthy eater.so i removed it myself and was painless and easy.

I read this forum and you all convinced me to take it out myself. but i am one to do things myself anyway lol and after i found the string and pulled a little it came right out although it is a little slippery. i just pulled it out and i am happy. i feel sooo relived. its a great feeling. i had it for about 2 years and was getting tired of the side effects. they are the worst things ever. thank you guys for making me feel the best i've felt in awhile.
