Is it Kids Natural Calm? We just use powder magnesium citrate (NOW foods), partly because I don't want to supplement calcium, but I think a lot of people use that form. I think the natural calm, which probably isn't dosed for kids, is just magnesium. Though you could do the same with powder (mixed in a drink or food).

I would recommend transdermal, magnesium chloride. Can itch a bit after application. I have used both of these brands:
