I've incorporated a lot of ayurvedic elements into our diet, and pretty much fit the pitta dosha. Am also very interested in the healing system--if I were to ever need it.

What dosha are you?

I am very interested in Ayurveda but just begininng to study it.
My dosha is vata. It is amazing how effective the ayurvedic things I've incorporated into my life have postively affected me. Have you used tumeric at all? I'm thinking of tryin it.

I's love to know if you have any books on it to recommend.

Pitta here too....
Poor DH is a Kapha - he just doesn't get the need to move move move sometimes. Just like I don't always get why he is so damn slow!

I really feel better when I eat for my dosha...but don't always have the time to do it.
I cook a lot from the Ayurvedic Cookbook by Amadea Morningstar. we love it!!!
The Punjabi Greenbeans are a Thanksgiving staple at our celebration.

Me too!!!! I'm a pitta but I honestly don't follow it very closely. I've only skimmed the surface of ayurveda.

I'm Vata/Pitta.
I'd love to learn more about this.

There's schools for Ayurveda if you're interested asherah! There's one nearby us in Socal called "SCU". The campus looks a bit archaic though.
