OMG, I feel like the worst mother! I was at the park for several hours today and was wearing Joe in the sling. He was tucked down inside safely, but then I turned him on his side to nurse and forgot to make sure something was covering the side of his head facing up toward the sun so he now has a sunburnt cheek. It's pretty red and warm but isn't blistered. What can I do for it? He's 11 weeks old, btw. I have squirted breastmilk on it and am about to go to a friend's house for some of her aloe vera plant (reminder to self: grow an aloe vera plant!). Is there anything else I can do for such a young baby? Even if you don't know what else I can do, please tell me I'm not the only mom to make this mistake!

Homeschooling mom to four kids, ages 18, 18, 10, and 6.
