My dd, now 3.5 yrs old, was born with a bump on her forehead between her eyes. Her ped said it was normal and would go away as her head plates moved....by 9 months to a year. Then at 12 months her ped said it sometimes didn't go away until 18 months ... then 2 yrs.... She's now 3.5 and after not seeing the ped for a while (lack of health insurance) she was with me when I brought our new baby in and she briefly asked me about it. I had become so used to the bump that I didn't think anything of it. But now I'm wondering if it is something to be concerned about. It's on her forehead between her eyes but up a little. My boys call it her "unicorn bump".

Anyone had a child with something similar or know anything about it?

I"m taking ds3 to the ped on Thursday for a cyst over his eye, so I thought I'd talk to her more about it then, but wanted to have any info I could get before going. Thanks!

Mama to A (12), Z (11), H (9), C (5), A (3) and 4 angels.
