I recently starting taking jarrodophilus probiotics, and I notice that a few hours after, I get gas. This has been going on for a few weeks. I read that it could be the yeast leaving my gut, but wouldn't it stop after a few weeks?

Thoughts?

hmm whats the filler in your probiotics?
maybe you are reacting to that?

I'd also add enzymes, and msm and that should eliminate gas as much as possible some gas is 'normal'..

also if you are eating many raw veggies, you might want to add vinegar to aid digestion. also watch out for the smell of the gas, that egg smell means you dont have the sulphur bacteria in your lower gut. and watch your food combinations like sugar and protien ( fruit juice, fruits, and things like cheese, nuts etc)

8 might be enough

For me, I was gassy for the first 2 months. It depends on how deficient you are. It takes a while to rebuild probiotics into your system.

Shiloh, can you tell me about enzymes & msm? I have the feeling I have opened a whole can of worms that I need to learn about with regard to yeast, probiotics, etc.

Jasmyn's mom, I hope it won't be that long for me. My DH has been teasing me mercilessly!
