So I bought a mooncup and love it except for one small detail: I have the hardest time getting the thing out! I had to cut the stem pretty short in order for it to be comfortable, and now it's practically impossible to remove. Seriously, each time it takes probably five whole minutes, including me talking myself down from the panic that I may never be able to get it out, regrouping, and trying again. Any ideas as to how to make this easier? I'd really like it to work.

You may be inserting it too high. Also, bear down on it while inserting a finger up one side to break the suction. HTH

Try squeezing the sides of it from underneath and twist it just a little as you gently pull down and out. It's a bit messy that way, but more comfortable, IMO. If you are squatting over the commode while doing it, it's no problem.
